Tangalooma Wrecks

  Half the fun of going to Moreton is driving your car onto the barge and taking the 2 hour trip over to the

 Island.  One of the first things to greet you at Moreton just before you land is 'The Wrecks'.  This is an

 artificial reef created to allow safe mooring of the barge as it unloads vehicles.  Some excellent diving here

 as well. The Great Southern Card button you can click on to order ships pictures from there any picture you would like to own.This webpage is worth looking at also there are so many pictures there of other ships I have not seen myself before so do enjoy while you are browsing there.

This is part of the Artificial Reef made up of old river craft from the Brisbane

 River over the past 50 years,its now a Tourist area and popular for fisherman

 and divers to the wrecks and also used as shelter from bad storms over the

 bay.
